Music softens the mood, and so do certain atmospheres, like the one created by Daydream, Balsan’s new textile tile. Its delicate pattern is inspired by the shadows cast on the ground by the morning light, creating the peaceful yet stimulating feel of the start of a beautiful spring day.
 
The tiles come in eight soft, light shades, from sky blue to sunshine yellow, warm sand to aurora coral. In a lobby or open-plan space they are particularly welcoming for visitors and staff, and in a hotel room they offer a feeling of warmth and comfort from the moment you wake up.
Daydream is also very gentle on the environment, thanks to its Thrive Matter yarn. 90% recycled and solution-dyed, its carbon footprint is reduced to a record low of 1.19 kg Co²eq/m²! In addition to this very appreciable performance for the planet, it offers excellent acoustic insulation (αω 0.30 on the reverse side), which contributes to creating a peaceful atmosphere by absorbing unwanted noise.
